Jameson Bank Sponsors Quebec PGA Featuring Martin Plante and Remi Bouchard 

Jameson Bank “A major sponsor” of 2009 PGA Skins Game

BERTHERIERVILLE, Quebec—Defending winner Martin Plante and order-of-merit circuit player Remi Bouchard are set to compete in the much-anticipated Quebec PGA Skins Game Tournament 2009 at Club de Golf de Berthier — sponsored by Jameson Bank.


“The Quebec PGA is proud and honoured to have Jameson Bank step up as a major sponsor of our Quebec 2009 tour,” said Jean Trudeau, Quebec PGA Chief Executive Officer.


The returning winner Martin Plant and other top competitors are set to tee-off July 17 through 19 in Berthierville, Quebec for a purse of $60,000.


“We are excited to sponsor this important event,” said James Lau, vice chairman of Jameson Bank (Banque Jameson). “This promises to be an exciting game on the circuit, with top competitors. We are delighted to be presenting the trophy to the winner this year.”


The mid-summer skins game was a perfect fit for sponsor Jameson Bank. “We’re passionate about the PGA, and so are Jameson’s clients,” said James Lau. “Our customers are business executives and owners. We’re a concierge-service, business-oriented bank.”


Jameson Bank will be featured extensively as the major sponsor for the ProAm game on the 17th of July and the event on the 18th and 19th. The event will be covered by live reports on television.


“We also plan to advertise our participation on television and in newspapers,” said Randy Dewey, vice president of revenue acquisitions at Jameson Bank.
